About me
Australian environment, climate and science writer
I’m an environment, climate and science copywriter, content specialist and freelance writer based in Australia. I work with good-hearted people to help create positive change for a brighter future.
I live on Bundjalung Country in the Clarence Valley / Northern Rivers NSW and work remotely with clients and organisations around Australia.
I’m a nature lover, garden grower, tea drinker and environmental scientist turned writer. I love a good story. Because I believe that stories can change the world.
Above all, I believe in the power of using words as a force for good. For me, it’s just second nature.
I’ve had the privilege of creating articles and content for renowned organisations including WWF-Australia, mememe productions (the team behind dirtgirlworld), NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service, NSW Environment Protection Authority, WorkForClimate and AgriFutures Australia. My work includes blog posts, articles, website copy, educational content, emails, newsletters, and campaign material reaching national audiences.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked on influential climate and renewables campaigns, award-winning children’s environmental education programs, and compelling sustainability brand stories. I’m also part of the creative team behind the acclaimed dirtgirlworld and Get Grubby programs, both of which inspire and empower the next generation.
With a love of place and landscape, I’ve also created engaging stories and content for tourism destinations such as Clarence Valley Tourism, Coffs Coast Tourism, and Wolgan Valley in the Greater Blue Mountains, helping to showcase the beauty and uniqueness of these regions.
As a freelance feature writer, my work has been published in leading publications like Australian Traveller, SBS Food, Outback, ABC Organic Gardener, Oak Magazine, Time to Roam, Go Camping and City Permaculture.

Why work with me?
I have a degree in environmental science and bring more than 20 years of experience working in environment, climate, science and sustainability.
So, I have an expert understanding of these ever-changing fields. I also hold a graduate certificate in environmental education, which means I have specialist knowledge in educating and inspiring people to change behaviours and take meaningful action.
Before launching my own business, I spent many years working in environmental policy, projects and communications for both state and federal environment government agencies.
I began my career at Australia’s first dedicated climate change agency where I focused on industry emissions reporting, before expanding my work into climate science and agriculture.
In my career, I’ve worked on conservation, renewable energy, sustainable industries, Aboriginal cultural heritage, water policy, threatened species protection, and national park management – plus much more.
I started my business to broaden my impact and help others be part of the solutions we need for a brighter and regenerative future.

Let’s see what we can create together.

I’m a proud supporter of the Northern Rivers Women’s Giving Circle. Together, we are a collective of passionate women taking action to tackle local disadvantage in our communities.
